Hello, my dear sisters in Christ and ministry,

It is my joy to write about our upcoming 2025 NYHER Hudson Valley Women’s Spring Event!  I apologize for the delay, but hopefully, you have saved the date.  Preparations are underway. 

​

Thank you for serving the precious women of our Hudson Valley section!  I am always amazed at how you continue to pour out generously your love and time for one another.  Know that you are dearly loved!  The NYHER sectional team leaders have been praying for you, as well as our HV Women of Purpose team.

I am confident that you have been praying for this year’s event.  While seeking the Lord, consider how you might serve in this year’s event.  Please contact me at trazjanzen@gmail.com  or call/text me at (315) 276-6645 if you would like to serve in some capacity. There are opportunities as prayer/altar team workers, purchasing and preparing gifts for each woman, greeters, ushers, table hostesses, set up crew, and more.

This year’s Theme is Chosen – Called by Name. “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine” (NIV).  The event will be held at Villa Borghese, 70 Widmer Rd, Wappingers Falls, NY 12590. https://thevillaborghese.com/ The cost is $42 per person. It will be held from 11 AM to 2 PM. 

 

We are honored to have Laura Johnson as our guest speaker. Laura Johnson serves with her husband, Rev. Gregg Johnson, pastoring The Mission Church. She and her husband have 5 children and 4 grandchildren. She is an anointed teacher and an effective communicator of the unique struggles facing women and is passionate about equipping them to be overcomers. Laura has served as Chairwoman of the Town of Beekman Board of Ethics as well as a legal secretary. She currently works in a support role in a doctor’s office. She has over 30 years of experience as a pastor’s wife and church leader.  She is the founder of Nation Changers International, working to bring long-term, sustainable solutions to orphans in Africa for the last 10 years.  She and her husband are actively involved in raising leaders through Global Leadership Training, an international ministry founded by her husband, Rev. Gregg Johnson.

 

The team is excited about raising a special missions offering for our 2025 NY itinerating missionaries.  They need our prayer and financial blessings.  Jaime Barkwell, our NY women’s ministries director, is working on the details for 2025.  There is more information coming soon.  Prayerfully consider how the Lord would have you and your women’s ministries team participate.   Thank you in advance for your generosity!
